Muhammad Salahuddin, M.Ed., M.Phil., is a PhD Student and Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Education Health and Behavior at the University of North Dakota, USA. His research focuses on faculty research proficiency and research productivity. He is working as a GRA at the Bureau of Evaluation and Research Services (BEARS), and the Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET). He is a member of the Faculty Motivation Research Group (FMRG)

Salahuddin started his career as a journalist with a renowned national daily in Bangladesh when he was a student at the University of Dhaka. After graduation, he switched his career path from journalism to research. He has been working with different organizations through teaching, research, and training. He has been working as an Education Specialist (Policy) at the National Academy for Primary Education in Bangladesh since 2017. 

He is the author of two books entitled "Action Research for School Level Development" and "50 Years of Education in Bangladesh: Elementary & Secondary Level". Salahuddin's research works have been published in different national and international peer-reviewed journals. He has presented posters and papers in d conferences and research colloquiums. He has also contributed Op-Eds in Bangla on different issues in education.
